Google Search Appliance Implementation
CASA’s website had a lot of great resources and materials for judges, volunteers, and state and local programs. But making sure the right material was visible to the right people via their search tool wasn’t an easy task.
Beaconfire’s Google Search implementation put sensitive information for volunteers and programs behind a protective firewall, so that only users who were logged in could access it via search. Other advanced features included creating search areas, so users could view content within programs or CASA’s library, and identifying search results as web pages, pdfs or Word documents.
