“Where do I start?”
It’s a question that begins a lot of Beaconfire’s work.
The Foundation Center came to us with a list of interrelated technology and systems issues that needed to be resolved. Their needs included:
- Identifying a suitable CRM to consolidate multiple databases,
- Moving to a new online commerce tool,
- Moving towards Single Sign On (SSO) to improve the user experience, Finding an effective email marketing tool and
- Migrating existing websites into their new CMS.
The Foundation Center knew that they needed a plan that balanced the priorities, assessed the feasibility of doing them all at the same time and identified the dependencies between efforts as they moved forward. We developed a 24 month plan that helped untangle dependencies, prioritize projects for importance and resulted in quick wins so FC could move as efficiently as possible.
